March 11: Shoup/Campbell/Kelley/Nace; Chris Brokaw; #tits
In February 2015, guitarist Bill Nace (Body/Head, x.o.4, Vampire Belt, Ceylon Mange, Northampton Wools) was in town for the Seattle Improvised Music Festival and did some recording at Gallery 1412 with Seattlites Wally Shoup (alto saxophone) & Greg Campbell (drums, percussion, cornet, french horn) and trumpeter Greg Kelley who had relocated to Seattle from Boston the previous spring. An LP from those sessions, One End to the Other, was released in November of 2015 on Bill’s Open Mouth imprint.
Nace & Kelley are embarking on an 8-date West Coast tour and, for the Seattle date, it only made sense to join forces with Shoup & Campbell at the scene of the crime.
Sharing the bill with the quartet is guitarist and drummer Chris Brokaw. Though recently focused on a variety of solo projects, Brokaw has a long history as a member of such bands as Come, Codeine, The Lemonheads, The Empty House Cooperative, The Martha’s Vineyard Ferries and many more and has also collaborated with artists as diverse as Alexander Hacke, GG Allin, Thurston Moore and Wreckmeister Harmonies. A native of New York, Chris also spent decades in Boston and has been in Seattle since 2011.
Rounding out the bill is “local tinnitus-inspiring noise duo” * #tits. * The Stranger

Headstone Brigade
Accordion based neo-folk and melodramatic pop. Egan Budd is a electronic music artist as well as composer recently re-located to the Seattle area perhaps more known for his noise/industrial project Xiphoid Dementia or label/webzine Existence Establishment previously based out of Boston, MA.
Eric Ostrowski
Eric Ostrowski is a freely-improvising musician and experimental filmmaker based in Seattle, WA. He played guitar and violin as one half of the legendary improv-noise duo of Noggin from 1993-2006. He is currently exploring solo violin performance – electro-acoustic noise that integrates sound and movement. He is also developing his handmade film and expanded cinema style
Adam Levitt
Adam Levitt is a saxophonist from Vermont currently living in Seattle. His solo efforts currently consist of improvisations that land somewhere between free jazz, noise, drone and ambient. Once a founder of the experimental collective Solar Fetus and noise/performance art duo Falcon Levitation (Friendship Tapes, Moon Machination), Adam’s solo work is a stream of consciousness expression that transitions between decay and rebirth in a meditative process of releasing chaos while striving to find some beauty and harmony in the void.
